Information on Midas Coin Company Ltd & Wizard Coin Machines
Midas Coin has been
supplying amusement video machines since 1979 and Wizard Coin machines
sometime before that. We had a very humble beginning. Our first coin operated
investments were three pool tables and two Space Invaders in an old billiard
hall in Avondale, Auckland ,NZ.
Space Invaders were a real novelty in those days and the children used
to queue up to play space invaders rather than the old pinballs, drivers
and gun machines that we also had in our arcade on a percentage basis
from other operaters.
Since then, our round has grown and now we provide video games to many
takeaway bars, dairies, clubs, amusement galleries all over Auckland.
We have also bought Wizard Coin Machines so have combined the two
businesses.
We have an 800sq. ft. warehouse at Avondale equipped with the latest up-to-date
games, as well as a few hard to find and classic video games. Over the
last 29 years, we have been selling our equipment to home players, both
locally and throughout the North and South Islands.
We have a large networking system which enables us to find a variety of games, usually within a few days. Whether you're looking for a PAC-MAN or to fill an entire home games room, we have the experience and integrity to satisfy your needs. We hire arcade games all over Auckland on a percentage basis.
